Day 1 - Hanoi arrival and welcome massage.

Day 2 - Hanoi City Tour
Early morning join your guide on an excursion to nearby Hoang Kiem Lake. In these park like surroundings you may see hundreds of Vietnamese exercising before setting out on their working day. Whether it's Tai Chi, Yoga, Dance, walking or jogging feel free to join in.
Return to the Hotel for breakfast.
Experience a half-day city tour focusing on Hanoi's historical sights. See Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and house, where he preferred to live simply. Also visit One Pillar and the Temple of Literature originally built in 1070.
This afternoon enjoy a wonderful 'Jet Lag Recovery' massage.  A perfect remedy after a long-haul flight.  The selected treatments aid in stimulating circulation and helps reduce swelling in the eyes and feet. 
Dinner at Sen Restaurant nestled by a lotus pond. Sen (Lotus) Restaurant is the ideal enclave for nature and food lovers alike. Choose from 60 traditional foods from three regions. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 3 - Halong Bay Boat Cruise Boat-2 day tour
Vietnam - Day 3_med.jpg After breakfast journey East to Halong via the coast stopping at  places of interest along the way..including the Humanity Centre, a program for disabled young people to learn crafts such as silk embroidery.
Board your cruise boat for the start of your relaxing Halong Bay overnight cruise. Halong Bay is one of the most spectacular and romantic of all Vietnam's physical wonders. From the Emerald waters 1,000 islands rise steeply to create a dramatic seascape...said to be the 'dragon descending into the sea'. The boat will stop at various points of interest, caves and lagoons...where you may swim, weather permitting. When anchored amongst the islands you will be treated to an 'Emeraude Wellness package' which includes hot lava stones,abdomen care,French manicure,French pedicure and a glass of champagne.

Day 4 - Halong Bay
A morning Tai Chi Class on deck is on offer. Continue your cruise through this magical land. Return journey to Hanoi.

Day 5 - Hanoi Day at leisure to relax by the pool or shop while admiring the city's colonial architecture.

Day 6 - Hoi An
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Danang. On arrival you will be driven to Hoi An via China Beach and Marble Mountain. Visit beautiful China Beach (made famous in the American TV series of the same name) where soldiers were airlifted for 'rest and relaxation'.
Marble Mountain is comprised of five stone hillocks that were once islands. Each is said to represent one of the five elements of the universe. The largest and most famous, Thuy Son, has numerous natural caves in which Buddhist sanctuaries have been built over the centuries. When the Champas ruled this area, these same caves were used as Hindu shrines. Visit the Cham Museum in Danang founded in 1915 by the Ecole Francaise d'Extreme Orient. The open-air collection of Cham sculpture is the finest in the world.
Continue on to our Hoi An beach resort,5 kms from town.This evening's dinner is an opportunity to try local dishes unique to Central Vietnam...including wonderful fish dishes!

Day 7 - Hoi An Tailors & Cooking School
Vietnam - Day 7_med.jpg This morning we will accompany our chef to the local market and choose the fresh produce for tonight's meal. Learn about the various spices and ingredients which make Vietnamese cuisine so sumptuous and then continue to the cooking school to prepare the marinades for tonight's dishes.
We also introduce you to some of Hoi An's tailors, dressmakers and cobblers and let you loose for some serious shopping!
Later return to the Restaurant where you will learn to cook a few Vietnamese specialty dishes. Then proudly feast upon your accomplishments!

Day 8 - Hoi An
