ITINERARY
Day 1:
On arrival into Beijing and after completing any necessary Customs and Immigration formalities, you will be met by your friendly China Holidays guide who will transfer you to the Novotel Xinqiao Hotel, where you will spend three nights.
Day 2:
Today enjoy a visit to the Great Wall of China at Mutianyu. Both the dramatic mountainous vista and the less commercial setting have made Mutianyu one of the increasingly popular parts of the wall to visit. This section of the wall showcases the numerous watch towers that were erected by the Emperor to look out for the marauding Mongols from the north. For those visitors who are unable to walk far, there is the option of taking a cable car to the wall.

Day 3:
Morning and afternoon at leisure to enjoy the attractions of Beijing. In the evening, enjoy a guided walk around the Hutongs District and Shichahai District. Dating back over 600 years to the Ming and Qing dynasties, the "hutongs" are the narrow alleyways of residential Beijing and offer an insight into the traditional life of Beijingers. The Sinchahai District includes the three lakes, built to service the Forbidden City, and offers a relaxing, tree-lined escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown Beijing. Dinner is included at a Sichuan restaurant.
