ITINERARY
Day 1 - ARRIVE BANGKOK
You will be met on arrival in Bangkok and transferred to your hotel.
 
Day 2 - FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING
Rise for an early breakfast and prepare for your choice of full day tour:

1. KANCHANABURI & RIVER KWAI
0800 - 1700 hrs
Depart your hotel at approximately 8.00am for your full day tour. Pass coconut plantations & rice paddies and note the ever present roadside shrines en route to the infamous Bridge on the River Kwai. You'll visit the JEATH Museum, a replica of a Japanese Prisoner of War camp,and the WW11 Cemetary. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. The tour includes a train journey along a stunning stretch of the Death Railway before returning to Bangkok in the late afternoon.

2. CRUISE TO/FROM AYUTHAYAGrand Pearl Cruise_med_1.jpg
0800 - 1700 hrs
Travel by coach to the picturesque ruins of the ancient capital city of Ayuthya. Visit the beautiful Bang Pa-In Summer Palace before boarding the "Grand Pearl" for a peaceful cruise back to Bangkok. Enjoy lunch on board. (Depending on departure date the outward journey may be by boat with lunch, returning by coach)

Day 3 - GRAND PALACE TOURRoyal-Palace-&-Temple-2_med.jpg
Rise for an early breakfast before being collected from the hotel at approximately 8.00am for your half day tour of the Grand Palace & Emerald Buddha. The Grand Palace features some of the most spectacular architecture in Asia. Since 1782, it has been the seat of the country's power. Entering the palace, you will be taken back through time with the magnificent Royal Chapel, golden domes and fluted spires. The palace compound also houses the Emerald Buddha, the most sacred Buddha image in Thailand.
Dress code for Grand Palace: No shorts, no sleeveless tops/vests, no sandals/open shoes. Shoes must be removed before entering the temples

Return to your hotel at approximately midday and relax for the afternoon until it is time to depart for the airport for your onward travel.
